MY BIOGRAPHY

IMG-110-1

Psychologist · Happiness Expert · Philosopher · Researcher · Innovator

From a young age, I was drawn to understanding the human experience. Whether through writing, drawing, or helping others navigate challenges, I was always curious about what made people feel happy, fulfilled, and understood. I often found myself the one friends turned to for advice — and I genuinely loved helping them find clarity and joy in their lives.

Today, I’m privileged to continue that same work on a global scale as a psychologist. I help individuals make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives — empowering them to better understand the consequences of their choices and to live with greater peace, purpose and happiness. In essence, I help people become — and more importantly — remain happy.

Personal and Academic Background

I was born in 1979 in Odessa, Ukraine, just a stone’s throw from the famous Privoz Market and the Odessa Zoo. I grew up immersed in the vibrant energy of this amazing historic city. School days were a joy — I cherished the conversations with classmates and teachers alike. I played football with friends, never missed a good Soviet film on TV, and explored a wide range of music, from classical Mozart to heavy metal legends like Manowar.

At 17, I enrolled at Odessa National University — an institution known for producing influential thinkers, psychologists, writers, and even world leaders. Though I earned a master’s degree in marketing and economics and a bachelor’s degree in civil law (thanks to my father’s guidance), my heart always belonged to psychology and philosophy.

My passion began early. By the age of 11, I was already devouring books from my father’s library — works by Jung, William James, Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud and many other famous psychologists and thinkers. While most teens were watching cartoons, I was captivated by the depths of the human psyche and the questions of meaning, morality and self-awareness.

At 27, I began formal training in psychology, earning a master’s degree in practical psychology with a focus on psychoanalysis. While I completed the academic requirements for clinical psychology, my full-time professional responsibilities at the time prevented me from completing the mandatory three-year hospital residency required for certification as a clinical psychologist.

A Life Changed by War

Like all Ukrainians, my life was profoundly changed on February 24, 2022 — the day our country was invaded by russia without any declaration of war. That day marks a dividing line: life before, and life after.

In April 2022, I began volunteering 4 days a week, offering psychological support to refugees who had fled from war-torn and occupied regions. Each day, I work with up to 30 individuals of all age groups — men, women, children — helping them process trauma, rebuild hope, and find emotional stability amid crisis.

These experiences have given my work new depth and urgency. I’ve dedicated this chapter of my life to supporting those affected by war and guiding people everywhere toward lives filled with meaning, resilience, and happiness.

Some Answers to Questions My Clients Ask

From a young age, I found joy in helping others solve their problems. Friends often came to me for advice, and I genuinely enjoyed guiding them through challenges. Over time, this natural inclination evolved into a deep curiosity about the human mind and a commitment to understanding what makes people truly happy.

My multidisciplinary education has given me a broader perspective on human behavior—how people think, make decisions, and interact within society. Understanding motivation from both psychological and economic viewpoints allows me to approach problems in a holistic, practical way, especially when helping clients create sustainable, meaningful changes.

Philosophy shaped how I think about life, purpose, and human nature. Reading Nietzsche, Jung, and James as a teenager opened my eyes to deeper existential questions and gave me a lifelong passion for introspection and wisdom. In therapy, philosophical insights often help clients reframe their struggles and find clarity.

February 24, 2022, changed everything! Like many Ukrainians, I felt a profound shift in my priorities. I began volunteering to support refugees and witnessed firsthand the resilience and pain of those fleeing war. That experience has redefined my mission: to help people not just survive trauma, but rediscover joy and meaning in life.

Happiness, to me, is not a fleeting emotion—it’s a sustainable state of inner peace, authenticity, and fulfillment. It’s about aligning with your true self, making conscious choices, and embracing both the beauty and imperfection of life. Helping people reach and maintain that state is the essence of my work.
